Portfolio of Works

I was exceptionally pleased to have been juried into 12 plein air events throughout North America in 2019! Please enjoy perusing some of the work that I produced at these events, and definitely let me know if you are interested in any of this work!

Texas ranches and Big Bend National Park have provided numerous opportunities for landscape painting....

There is a wide variety of subtle landscapes, small towns, rural environments and often dramatic weather in Oklahoma. With this variety right outside my door there is always something available to paint!

Throughout my architectural teaching career I often led students on summer sketching trips to Europe. These sketches, done mostly in pencil, were done en plein air with the students in 15-45 minutes.
