While most of my sketching has been done with pencil, I spent a lot of time drawing with ink when I was a student. This particular sketch was done while on a break from traveling with the students. As I looked at the architectural forms on this gray, overcast day, I decided to explore the forms with linework alone; thus this drawing experiment, which was completed just as the rain burst down from the clouds above!
