End of 'Day'

I found this utilitarian structure beautiful, as did many others according to the many people that stopped to photograph it while I was painting. I initially encountered this area in the bright sunlight, but as I was laying the painting out I felt it would best be illuminated by early evening light. It took three trips out to this remote site to be able to complete this painting, but it was thoroughly enjoyable and I felt it was totally worth it!
