Crawfish Reflections

I have painted numerous award-winning paintings at this site, which I love. This year the light was very subdued, the winds and water were quiet, and the reflections were spectacular. It took quite a bit of finessing to ultimately resolve the reflections, but I think it was well worth it. This painting was done as part of the 2026 Teche Plein Air Festival in New Iberia, Louisiana, where the total of my work done at the festival was awarded Best Body of Work by judge Charlie Hunter
